We work with many common thermoplastics, including COC, COP, PMMA (acrylic), polystyrene, polycarbonate, and polypropylene. Please see our material compatibility chart for help in choosing.

Can I try different thermoplastics with the same tool?
Yes! Our process makes it easy to produce small numbers of parts in different thermoplastics.

Can I switch from PDMS to plastic while retaining certain properties?
Yes, in most cases there are suitable thermoplastics or thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) that can replicate optical clarity at specific wavelengths, gas permeability, or deformability, and we have lots of experience helping folks transition out of PDMS.
